Three weeks before they had hosted the year’s tournament, Germany, the defenders in the world cup against Italy, beat the latter 5-0 in Osnabreuk in a warm-up match. As the Germans prepare to win the world cup, they easily won against the Italians after struggling for a win against North Korea of 2-0.
Germany had their title defense against Canada at the Berlin Olympic stadium on June 26th. In fact, they have been bidding on their own winning after they won in the warm up matches that they played. However, before that, they have their matches against Netherlands and Norway.
In the match at the Berlin Olympic stadium against, Germany had built a comfortable win against Canada by building a half-time lead of 1-0. Germany has to play the future warm-up matches against Holland and Norway on Tuesday and the 16th of June respectively.
In group A, it will be Germany against Nigeria and France and in Group C; it will be USA against North Korea, Columbia and Sweden.
