The Nigerian woman, for whom NHS has spent up to £200,000, as she gave birth to quintuplets, has been exposed to be working illegally as an Avon Lady.
The 33 year old woman has been distributing cosmetics catalogues for quite a long time. As her visa has expired last month, she was not able to receive the advantage.
One of her neighbors confirmed the news and said, “She has dropped at least two Avon booklets through the door in the past couple of months. I'm sure she has visited other homes in surrounding streets”. The neighbor was not aware that the woman was not allowed to do business in the country.

Also, a spokes person from Avon Company said that the firm is looking into the matter that how she has become the saleswoman of the company.
A spokesperson from Home Office said that the UK Border Agency will carefully investigate the case and will make sure that no laws are broken.
This instance has once again lifted the issue of health tourism where the foreigners have been obtaining benefits from Britain’s state-funded health system.
