Floridians need not worry about E.Coli, say authorities

Floridian health department authorities have said that the people there need not worry about the E. Coli bacteria. The deadly outbreak has killed some 47 people in Europe and has been linked to a bean sprout that was grown in organic farms of Germany.

While talking to media, Dr. Carina Blackmore, chief of the Bureau of Environmental Public Health Medicine said that till now no evidence has been found of what should concern the people of Florida.

Atleast 4 Americans have said to visited Germany and were amongst those who were infected because of the strain.

But a new tally that was sent by Germany’s disease control center had a different statement to make and made the experts debate as to whether the E. Coli outbreak of France had any relations with Germany at all. Besides, the German officials are yet to find out as to exactly how the sprouts got infected.

On the other hand, the FDA has already suggested pregnant women along with young people and elderly to stay away from eating raw sprouts. These people are more vulnerable as they have weaker immune systems.
